We call it Ballard SeafoodFest and the beloved neighborhood tradition turned 50 this year!
Through the help of our sponsors, volunteers and the support of the local business community, this has been a free event to attend since its creation in 1974 as a neighborhood salmon BBQ.
This deliciously fun festival is also a giant neighborhood fundraiser! All proceeds from the festival are reinvested in the year-round programs that enhance the neighborhood, through the projects, events and programs administered by the non-profit, the Ballard Alliance.

October 19, 2024 Ballard Wine Walk Tickets Now On Sale!
Ballard's most popular fall event is back! Explore the charming Ballard neighborhood and experience delicious Pacific Northwest wines at the Visit Ballard Wine Walk on Saturday, October 19, 2024. We're pairing 17 boutique shops with 17 PNW wineries, so you can taste a variety of wines in unique settings throughout the historic Ballard neighborhood.
Tickets are $40* for 10 tastings with the option to purchase an additional three tastings for $10*
Ballard Wine Walk commemorative drinkware is available for $10* or you may bring your own tasting glass to the event.
Additionally, event participants will have an opportunity to purchase bottles at a special discounted rate at the respective tasting venues from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on the evening of the event. All varieties of wines served during the event will be available for purchase by the bottle. So if you fall in love with one of your tastings, you can bring it home with you.
This event always sells out in advance, so please get your tickets as soon as possible!
