Sashiko is an age old Japanese style of mending that is not only functional, but beautiful. In this 3 hour workshop, you’ll learn the sashiko technique by creating your own sashiko patch sampler. You will also learn design transfer techniques and pattern creation. Bring a pair of ripped (or not) jeans to create your own completely unique pair of wearable art. No previous embroidery experience is necessary.
