Position Description: The Associated Recreation Council (ARC), in partnership with Seattle Parks & Recreation, is hiring an Sports & Soccer Instructor. The instructor will be responsible for programming and delivering a sports class to kids aged 5-7. Camp Schedule:

  • Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate activity camp lesson plans/activities to kids ages 5-7 for a camp.
  • Maintain documentation on camp participants to ensure security and youth safety- including but not limited to sign in sheets, medical needs and parenting plans
  • Use critical thinking to problem-solve and manage conflict
  • Generate supply lists for each camp; there will be some class supply funds available
  • Maintain camp appropriate professional appearance
  • Daily set-up, take down and cleaning of space

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Prior youth programming experience required
  • Must have demonstrated working experience working with families, community members and partners to foster positive relationships
