We are excited to partner with media/technology expert\, Dr. Devorah Heitner\, to learn about how we can support our kids as they grow up in this world. \nJoin us to learn:\n– How caregivers can mentor children as they grow up on Roblox\, Instagram\, TikTok\, and other social media apps\n– How caregivers can help kids use AI tools like ChatGPT\, Claude\, Gemini\, and others thoughtfully\, ethically\, and responsibly\n– How can we help them navigate a world where they can be exposed to problematic content\n– How caregivers can help kids be thoughtful about their digital footprint and reputation\n– Strategies for teaching tweens and teens to recognize how social media affects their mood and mental health\n– How mentoring over monitoring with screens actually work\n– How can we help our kids (and ourselves) find the balance between plugged and unplugged activities\n– How to work on sleep habits to balance screen time and getting enough rest.\n– Supporting kids in staying true to themselves as they grow up “in public” on social media apps\n– How social media and chatbots can affect mood and mental health \nThis event will be moderated by Christy Keating from The Heartful Parent Collective.
