Sneaky little tomten are hiding all over Ballard. Follow the Tomte Trail through 41 Ballard businesses and find where these little fellows are hiding. Download below or pick up a passport in a participating business to start your journey. Explore the participating boutique shops and locate their tomte. Once you find the tomte, kindly ask a staff member for a stamp in your passport.

Then, continue along the trail in search of a little tomte at each location and get as many stamps as possible!

Bring your stamped passport to Ballard HolidayFest & Market on Saturday, December 5, 2026 in Marvin’s Garden Park from 2 – 5 p.m. and receive a prize!

Collect at least 10 stamps, and enter your passport in our drawing for a National Nordic Museum Annual Family Membership at Ballard HolidayFest & Market! (Be sure to fill out your contact information before you drop off your passport, so we can contact you if you win!)
