Sneaky little tomten are hiding all over Ballard. Follow the Tomte Trail through 33 Ballard businesses and find where these little fellows are hiding. Download below or pick up a passport in a participating business to start your journey. Explore the participating boutique shops and locate their tomte. Once you find the tomte, kindly ask a staff member for a stamp in your passport.

Then, continue along the trail in search of a little tomte at each location and get as many stamps as possible!

Bring your stamped passport to Ballard HolidayFest on Saturday, December 6, 2025 in Marvin’s Garden Park from 2 – 5 p.m. and receive a prize!

Collect at least 10 stamps, and enter your passport in our drawing for a National Nordic Museum Annual Family Membership at Ballard HolidayFest! (Be sure to fill out your contact information before you drop off your passport, so we can contact you if you win!)

Ballard HolidayFest is a free family-friendly neighborhood celebration produced by the Ballard Alliance featuring live music, cider, treats, prizes, and free photos with Santa!
