The Yes Masters are/is the creation of Seattle musician Kurt Bloch. A thirteen-track album of loud and proud pop music, not 'pop' in the sense of 'current pop' more in the sense of 'power pop' or the dreaded 'punk-pop,' but gleefully staged in a frame before those terms were coined. Not a throwback to the days 'as if punk never happened,' no siree! Any sort of throwback comparisons are quickly thrown OUT with this LP rife with cheer and sadness, standing TALL in the face of adversity.
