The SEA-Nordic Film Festival kicks off on Friday, September 13 with an opening night showing of Norwegian drama Sister, What Grows Where Land Is Sick? (2022), which unites magical realism and coming-of-age themes to depict sisterhood, mental illness, and the helplessness of watching someone you love suffer.
