‘Make do and mend’ is an old British war-time refrain but I truly think a garment that has been lovingly mended using visible techniques is better than it was brand new!

Helen Sharp will provide instruction for 3 different types of visible mending – darning, needle felting and boro patching. Bring your moth-holed sweaters and socks and give them a new life! Materials provided for darning, felting and patching. If you don’t have anything to bring, you can use scrap fabric provided.
