In this class you will learn the basics of block printing:
creating a design
carving your block
inking and getting a clean print

Please bring your own garment(s) to print on and come prepared with an idea of what you’d like to print! The blocks we’ll be using are 4”x 6” – feel free to bring in a drawing or print-out and I’ll help you transfer it into your block. Or come with just an idea and I’ll help you translate it into something printable!

Note: Textured fabrics like corduroy or knitted items are difficult to print on, please bring something that’s nice and smooth (i.e. cotton t-shirt, denim, etc.)
