This is a great class for beginners and seasoned hand stitchers alike with an interest in hand stitching as both a functional and beautiful craft.

This 3-hour workshop includes:

-a presentation of mending materials and how they are used in practice

-a hands-on tutorial to practice and complete a patch, in the sashiko-style embroidery technique.

-an explanation of how to repair specific types of clothing mends (crotch/butt patching, threadbare areas, torn pockets, worn knees)

-an opportunity to ask questions about your project-bring it with you!
